Not all all. Virtually every mass-produced shoes only have what‘s called a sock liner; a modest buffer
between your feet and the soles of the shoes. That’s it. But, such liners do nothing to provide the level
of support and pain relief anyone who spends any amount of time on their feet requires and deserves.

A majority of shoes are also made so that the liner cannot be removed without damaging the shoe.
And inserting insoles over-top existing liners compromises a proper fit can cause further discomfort
and can worsen the pain. So, it’s essential that shoes and insoles work in harmony.
